The film is based on the novel by Timofey Smetanin, a Yakut war veteran writer. The story takes place in the fall of 1943, the young hunter Yegor Chaerin becomes a sniper, enters the fray with the German invaders and changes the balance of power on the front lines. In writing the script, the main characters and events of the story were taken and placed in the new story. A character was added, the German sniper Schultz, who became the main antagonist of Chaerin.
The film was produced by Nyurgun Ivanov and directed by Dmitry Koltsov. The war atmosphere of 1943 was recreated on eight acres at the dacha of the art director. The shooting process was divided into three stages: the nature (forests, fields, river), the interior (headquarters, dugouts) and the trenches as a separate location. Also, additional shooting was organized for battle scenes with the participation of EMERCOM personnel. It premiered in Russia on March 11, 2021.

The center of musical and cultural life of the city, Pushkin State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre was founded in 1935. In 2022 a new team headed by art director Alexey Trifonov took over the theater. In record time a new orchestra, La Voce Strumentale, was formed, and the opera and ballet troupes were replaced. Over the past year the theater has hosted three opera premieres - Gluck's Orpheus and Eurydice, Tchaikovsky's The Queen of Spades, Bizet's Carmen, and the world premiere of the ballet Terezin - Quartet to the music by prisoners of the Nazi concentration camps.
