The film "Taina Viliuiskogo Vodokhranilishcha" ("The Mystery of the Vilyuy Reservoir") tells the story of the flooding of the Tuoy-Khaya village, with a population of 500 people, during the construction of the Vilyuy Dam. It portrays the inconveniences and hardships experienced by the resettled population. This is a compelling story of the enduring struggles and uncertain destiny faced by those who were deprived of their beloved homeland. The film was made with the financial support of the Presidential Grants Foundation of the Russian Federation and Sinet Sakhawood by Arsen Tomsky. The film is directed by Anastasia Borisova.
