The Nizhny Novgorod Theater Arts Center is an independent theater in Nizhny Novgorod. It was founded in September 2016 at the initiative of two talented local residents, Evgeniy Pykhtin and Alexander Suchkov. Evgeniy Pykhtin is the winner of the "Top 50. The most famous people of Nizhny Novgorod", hosted by Sobaka.ru Nizhny Novgorod magazine in the "Art" category in 2016, the "Theater" category in 2019, as the writer and producer of the play "Geroi Sredi Nas" ("Heroes Among Us") in 2021; winner of the Nizhny Novgorod Award, an actor of the Comedy Theater. Alexander Suchkov is an honored Artist of Russia, teacher, director, actor of Nizhny Novgorod State Academic Drama Theater named after M. Gorky.
The Theater Arts Center is the first independent professional theater in Nizhny Novgorod, which has its own venue that brings together chamber theaters of the city. Unique design of the place and transforming halls allows them to carry out the most ambitious director's ideas and experiments. The Theater Arts Center has brought to life a number of social and cultural projects of local and national significance: International School-Laboratory "Linii Teatra" ("Lines of Theater"); Sociocultural project "Geroi Sredi Nas" ("Heroes Among Us") with ordinary citizens taking part in the production of plays; "Linii Teatra" ("Lines of Theater") laboratory in partnership with the studio "Tihaya" ("Silent") - performances in the urban environment, "Bespridannitsa. Pokayanie"("Without a Dowry. Penance"), a multi-genre performance in the center of the Nizhny Novgorod Kremlin (in partnership with the dreamlaser team); Site-specific audio performance "Pogruzhenie Promenade"("Immersion Promenade"); All-Russian Festival of Independent Theaters "Teatralnaia Strelka".
Theater Studio Otdykhai! is one of the best student theaters in Russia. The performances staged by the theater are rather diverse: variety sketches, pantomimes, experimental director's performances. But there is always a common feature - even the most serious and intense ideas are presented in an easy and comprehensible manner. The theater was founded 25 years ago, but despite its respectable age, it's going strong. It is in constant search of new concepts and ideas.
The theater is a laureate of various district, Russian and international theatre festivals, such as the Theater Revolution Festival, IKARIADA Competition, Minuta Slavy Competition, the Russian Student Spring Festival.

"Kholodnoe Zoloto" ("The Cold Gold") is a historical action film produced by Sahafilm company, directed by Petr Khiki. The storyline of the film takes place in the year 1942. While the country's forces are focused on fighting Nazi Germany, gangs operate in the southern part of Yakutia, robbing gold mines. The task of eliminating the largest gang is assigned to the chief of the local NKVD, senior lieutenant of state security, and the main protagonist of the film, Karasyov.
The film is inspired by real events but has a fictionalized storyline. It combines elements from various gang stories, and the screenplay is completely original . The film had a budget of 13 million rubles. The main shooting took place in the Khangalassky and Namskiy Districts of Yakutia, and in the village of Kachikattsy. In late October 2021, the film participated in the competition program of the 5th Yalta International Film Festival “Eurasian Bridge”. The film entered the Top 15 viewed films on the Wink platform.
